I have successfully gained admission into NUS, Bachelor in Environmental Studies. I teach mathematics and social studies/history at the upper secondary level.
When I was a student I had to depend on myself and was not able to afford extra help and tuition classes. I was able to get by and excel by being very structured and applying my own strategy throughout my O and A levels. This is the skill I wish to impart to my students.
My lesson structure is as detailed below:
(1) Clarifying any doubts the student may have arising from lessons in school. (10-20min)
(2) Assisting with homework. (time depending on number of questions)
(3) Providing student with challenging questions that often arise in O-level examination. Mastery of 1 topic every 1-3 session. (Majority of the lesson)
