Because I haven't got a hard copy of my actual May 2014 IB DP result yet, I'm only able to provide the predicted grades that were given to me by my school prior to the exam. Not to worry, my final IB score was the same as my predicted one, 42 out of 45. I am aware of my capability in maths, the subject that I want to teach at Epigami. I got 7 out of 7 for this mathematics HL in May 2014 IB DP exam, and I was always on top of my class. I have also joined and achieved high distinction achievements from numerous mathematics competitions throughout my school life, both international and domestic competitions. For instance, I got 3 silver medals for mathematics in ICAS (International Competition and Assessment for Schools) by UNSW Australia for achieving high distinction awards for 3 consecutive years. I choose to teach younger group of students because I think that I enjoy teaching them. Although I have no teaching experience, I believe that I can be a great teacher because I believe that I can motivate kids through different ways, for example through moral support, fun and relaxed teaching methods, and also by giving them small rewards to make them feel more appreciated.
